Ingredients:

 1  c  wheat flour, flour 
 2  ts  baking powder 
 1/2  ts  baking soda baking soda 
 1/2  ts  cinnamon 
 2  c  All bran or; (raisin bran) 
 1 1/4  c  2% low fat milk, nonfat milk 
 1/3  c  Firmly packed sugars, brown brown sugar 
 1   egg 
 1/2  c  applesauce applesauce 

Preparation for Low Fat and Healthy Bran muffins Recipe:

Heat oven to 400 K. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon in
large bowl. Mix cereal, milk and sugar in another bowl. Let stand 5
minutes. Stir in egg and applesauce. Add to flour mixture, stir just until
moistened (batter will be lumpy). Spoon batter into muffin pan sprayed with
no- stick cooking spray. Filling each cup 2/3 full, bake for 18 to 20
minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
