Body Fat Percentage Calculator

The Body Fat Calculator gives a measure of body fat percentage based on body part dimensions and uses equations developed by the US Navy.

Body Fat Percentage for Men:

  • Measure abdomen, horizontal at the level of the navel
  • Measure neck, with the tape sloping slightly downward to the front.
  • Measure height without shoes.

Body Fat Percentage for Women:

  • Measure waist, smallest horizontal circumference around the abdominal area.
  • Measure hips, largest horizontal circumference around the hips
  • Measure neck, with the tape sloping slightly downward to the front.
  • Measure height without shoes.
